Is it time to outsource?

"Are you scaling your business?" I've been seeing that question a lot recently. Likely in response to the pandemic, business owners are looking to do whatever they can to see productivity and growth.

When you hear "outsource" what comes to mind? For me whenever I heard that, it brought to mind overseas call centers. This is likely due to the fact that my early career was spent trying to get claims reprocessed through insurance companies that outsourced customer service.

While that is a form of outsourcing, there is so much more to it.

With so many being furloughed or victims of a lay-off, these experienced and valuable ex-employees are now looking to work. Freelancing has become a viable and in-demand resource for both business owners and those seeking work.

With everyone still uncertain as to what the coming months will bring, business owners are still hesitant to hire employees and assume so much risk (i.e. payroll, taxes, benefits, etc.). Enter the freelancer - your answer to that very problem.

These tried and true professionals can now offer their expertise to you at a fraction of what it would cost to hire them as employees! They will bring value to your business by saving you time, money and, quite frankly, sanity. Don't get stuck doing everything yourself and neglecting your business dreams. With social distance and more businesses going to an online format, these pros are going to be around for the long haul!
